Write to the editors

Use the form below. Choose what your message is about, so it reaches the right person. If it is about a post, paste the post's address. We ask for your email address only so that we can reply; it goes to the editors and no one else.

You can also email us at info@coordinatesofthought.com. We read every message, and we aim to reply within a few days.

The quickest route

  • A problem with a post. Use Report under the post. It goes straight to the editors' review queue. Write to us as well only if it is urgent or needs explaining.
  • A private message that worries you. Report it from your inbox. Editors see only the messages that are reported to them.
  • Signing in. Try Forgot your password? first. If your code has not arrived, check your spam folder, then write to us.
  • Your account or your data. You can change your profile and settings, or delete your account, in Your page. For a copy of your data, write to us. See our Privacy policy.
  • An appeal. Tell us which decision, and why you think it was wrong. See the House rules.
  • A correction. A wrong date, name or idea? Tell us where it is and what it should be.
  • A suggestion. A thinker, book, tradition or topic we are missing.

Writing for the Journal

Read Write for the Journal, then send your essay from Your page → Journal. If you are unsure whether an idea fits, write to us first with a short outline.

Press, partnerships and scholars

Journalists, publishers, teachers, universities and scholars are welcome to write. Choose Press, partnerships or teaching in the form. Tell us who you are, what you have in mind, and any deadline.

Scholars who would like to correct a thinker profile, or help us represent a tradition well, are especially welcome.
